My Story

Ever since I was 16 (2012) I have been dealing with different symptoms that never went away such as fatigue, misdiagnosed urinary tract infections, anxiety, random stomach pains and more. I spent years going to different doctors and clinic to try and get some answers but they would all turn my away and say I was fine or should take some antibiotics. 


When I was 22 (2018) I finally got some insight on what was causing all of these symptoms. Exhausted of visiting regular doctors I decided to book an appointment with a naturopath and get a food sensitivity test, that also could detect bad bacteria in your colon, intestines and gut. Turns out I had chart topping Candida(overgrowth of yeast in the body) and parasites in my colon and intestines. I was relieved to know I wasn’t crazy and there was something causing all of my symptoms. The naturopath explained to me that this was all probably caused by taking too many antibiotics and eating a diet to high in processed and refined foods like gluten, dairy and sugar. 


This is when I started my journey of healing my body through food,  something I had never done before. For the past 2 years I’ve experimented with different diets and have done tons of research to help aid in my healing. I’ve finally figured out what works and doesn’t work for my body. I know the biggest thing I learned is what works for someone else won’t necessarily work for me. Everyone should find their own way to feel better and heal their gut. I am not a doctor, nutritionist or chef. I am simply sharing my experience in the hopes that it might just be able to help or inspire others.
